Erwin Schmidt
Erwin Schmidt studied classical and Jazz piano, and now is one of the top pianists of Austria. He played with Kevin Mahagony, Ray Charles Big Band, Christian Havel, Heinz von Hermann, was touring to Mexico, Bangkok, Hanoi und Ho Chi Minh.
Since a couple of years the Hammond Organ is his great love, so now you can hear him as pianist or as organist in Jazzclubs and at other events.

As one of the main pianists/sideman of Austria, it was just a matter of time that he would make this first trio recording as a leader. Harmonically perfect and with a good atmosphere!
