Christian Maurer
Christian Maurer studied Classical and Jazz saxophone in Vienna, he now teaches Classical saxophone at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. He recieved the talent prize for composition of Upper Austria 2000, a prize as Jazzsoloist in Monaco 2001, Hans Koller Prize best CD „Robert Bachner Quintett Travelling Hard“, 2006 nominee "Musiker des Jahres" 2009. Own Projects: Upper Austrian Jazzorchestra, Saxofour, Mau-Si.
