On its second album this very groovy band around drummer Andi "Miami" Weiss plays again real COOL funky stuff, as the group name indicates. Austrian masters of groove-Jazz, like Christian Havel and Thomas Kugi are featured, completed by the strong rhythm of Erwin Schmidt(organ), Herfried Knapp(b) and Anton Mühlhofer(perc). A mix of big/well known songs and some originals are brought in the fine, honest sound of the band! Two Bonus Tracks feature Winfried "Windy" Gruber as vocalist with a slightly different Line-up (Uli Langthaler on bass, Harry Gansberger on organ, percussion omitted).

This is the 2nd album of Fuse Bluezz in the extended CD version! All titles recorded at ORANGE STUDIO, Vienna - in Corona Times 2021, except Tr 04, which was recorded live at music club REIGEN (Vienna) and tracks 03, 06, 07, 11 & the vocals of 09 recorded in 2024. We spared most of these tracks (as a follow-up for our album „Blues Indeed“ (Jive Music JM-2100) for the better days to come after Corona! That didn‘t really work! GAZA, RUSSIA and the CLIMATE do their best to spoil the world for the coming years! So for us it stays „a hoping and waiting" On these tunes though there is more positve feeling and humour!
All music is produced, arranged, engineered and mixed by RENS NEWLAND, who also played or programmed several keyboards & percussions , plus sang some backvocals. A lot of input and inspiritation came from the co-initiator of the project: PETER GRUBER. This is the 2nd album of Fuse Bluezz! Rens Newland's roots were the Blues! Way back in the 60s in Holland. His journey went over Experimental Pop, Fusion, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Rock, Studio, etc.. But he loves  to come back to these roots now and then!  Co-initiator of the project is Peter Gruber, from whome came a lot of input and inspiritation and who plays the bass here! Vocals are again taken over by Ric Toldon! Drummer  is the young Simon Springer. Keyboard man Martin Wöss added some piano and synth additions. Again the basic sound is of course build on Mr. Newland's guitars, here he uses some of his dearest instruments, like Gibson Les Paul custom,  ES 335 and L5, Fender Strato and Tele, Godin Red Line, Parker Fly and Takamine Acoustic Steel. The tracks once more show the broad possibilities of the Blues in form and sound: Delta Blues, Funkblues, Jazzblues, Rockblues and more. Some instrumental tracks are of course also part of the concept! All the music is by the bandleader and most of the lyrcs are, one is by Ric Toldon and one by Lional Lodge, a former partner of Mr. Newland.

All titles recorded at ORANGE STUDIO Vienna - in Corona Times 2021, except A.04, which was recorded live at music club REIGEN(Vienna). Myroslav Levytsky(p) and Rens Newland(g), both great personalities on their instruments, came together the first time in 2001. In the following years a cooperation developed itself between Braty Bluzu (the band of Myroslav and his brother Oleg) and Rens Newland. Myroslav has classical and eastern roots, Rens has Blues, Rock and Jazz, so western roots. They had a small Tour in Austria which resulted in a Live Album "Myroslav Levytsky & Rens Newland Project "One Autumn Concert" released in the Ukrain. This is the second album of just the two, again recorded in Vienna in Rens' Orange House Studio. It's mainly inspirational and meditative solo Piano pieces. Three tracks feature Rens Newlnd on steel string guitar.

Since 1985 Herb Caruso (a.k.a. Hansi Caruso), who has been hyped by critics as Austrian Frank Sinatra, has been active as a jazz singer and performer and has been one of the most interesting crooners in Austria ever since.
Who else could come up with the idea in Vienna to keep the long and venerable tradition of the American Songbook alive?
In Uli Datler he found the perfect duo partner to realize the right atmosphere for his performances, live and also here as Studio recording!
They picked out some great contemplative songs about love and life. From the first moment on you are catched by the intime sound!

Wie das Leben so spielt - How life goes!

What does a musician in the time of Corona  do – what with no engagements, financial insecurity, and with the growing feeling that it may well be a long time before events managers and organizers feel confident enough to plan future concerts or events in the form we have heretofore been accustomed…? Does one give in to despair, quit entirely or find other work? Thomas Kramer decided to try to use this time meaningfully and creatively und began again to compose and with that,  to fulfill one of his fondest wishes: to bring my musical “Dream Team” with whom I had already worked for several years  into the studio.  So now here it is: a “sign of life” – certainly to be continued! With two wonderful friends and musicians, Erwin Schmidt on Hammond organ and Heimo Wiederhofer on drums, The Thomas Kramer Hammond Trio, he recorded 10 fine original compositions and shows his great musical craftsmanship with a great sound as well.

As Rens Newland's roots were in the 1960s Blues, the Electric Blues of John Mayall, Eric Clapton and in Holland Cuby & the Blizzards or Living Blues. and he always tried to keep this deep music feeling in all the projects and styles he did in the meantime, it was no big jump to get back into that and make a Blues album. He and his friend Peter Gruber (bass player) were talking now and then in the last years, that they should do such a project together!

This live recording is of one of the last concerts of the international Albert Mair Trio, recorded live, 25 years ago on January 2, 1996 in the original Porgy & Bess Jazz Club in Vienna. The trio was formed In the mid-nineties…its goal: to accompany Joan Cartwright and other singers. Soon thereafter, an equal musical frame of mind moved the three musicians, Albert Mair (piano), Marc Abrams (bass) and Andy Winter (drums) to perform solely as a trio.

In the Corona year 2020 this great project developed out of a spontaneous studio jamsession of four jazz personalities:
A strong Jazz Organ Quartet, of course with the legendary Wes Montgomery Quartet in the back of the head, with some of the best musicians of Vienna, Austria.
The Clubs were closed, so better meet in the studio of drummer Dusan Novakov (projects with Mark Murphy, Oliver Lake, George Cables, John Marshall, Dick Oatts, Don Menza, Kirk Lightsey, Michelle Hendricks, Toninio Horta, Dusko Gojkovic, Valery Ponomarev, Andi Bey, Bread Lealy, Karl Ratzer, Timna Brauer und Elias Meiri Ensemble, Fernando Correa, Fritz Pauer, Big Band Graz, Frank Lacy, Gregory Porter, Paul Zauner, and Andy Middleton) and record some tunes!

A new chapter for Joschi Schneeberger's band: since his son Diknu Schneeberger went his own way, the new quartet has emerged! All band members have contributed some own compositions and of course also show up as soloists!
