The Nova Terra Project is a project of Rens Newland in coorperation with Tanja Filipovic and is meant to exchange our world into another one! Better, peaceful, friendly, social, open....We try to reach this by making positive music, with warm feelings, nice chords, nice rhythms, nice words. This one with Latin feeling, composed (music & words) by Rens Newland, also responsable for arrangement, guitars, keyboards & other programming. Sung by the wonderful Jazz talent Tanja Filipovics. Both have their life center in Vienna, Austria.

On its second album this very groovy band around drummer Andi "Miami" Weiss plays again real COOL funky stuff, as the group name indicates. Austrian masters of groove-Jazz, like Christian Havel and Thomas Kugi are featured, completed by the strong rhythm of Erwin Schmidt(organ), Herfried Knapp(b) and Anton Mühlhofer(perc). A mix of big/well known songs and some originals are brought in the fine, honest sound of the band! Two Bonus Tracks feature Winfried "Windy" Gruber as vocalist with a slightly different Line-up (Uli Langthaler on bass, Harry Gansberger on organ, percussion omitted).
